Engineers added a optical starlight blocker inside the craft called a coronagraph. This tool uses tiny flexible mirrors to cancel the bright glare of central stars. Blocking star glare lets ground teams photograph giant gas planets directly. A high-speed radio beam sends the data down to Earth at five hundred megabits per second through NASA radio dishes in New Mexico.
